Welcome to Sixth Grade Math at Cane Creek Middle School

I have been teaching since 2003. I earned my degree from Appalachian State University, home of the 3-Peat National Football Champions. Go Mountaineers! Since beginning my teaching career I have taught third, fifth, sixth, and been a media specialist. During this time I completed my masters in Educational Media, earned my National Boards, and was awarded the 2019 Oustanding K-8 Educator from NC SMT.

I live in the area with my husband Luke and our daughters McKinnon and Allie. When we aren't in school we love watcing and partictipating in sports, riding roller coasters, traveling, and hanging with our doodle Laettner.
