Welcome to Sixth Grade Math at Cane Creek Middle School

I have been teaching since 2003.  I earned my degree from Appalachian State University, home of the 3-Peat National Football Champions, go Mountaineers! Since beginning my teaching career I have taught third, fifth, sixth, and have been a media specialist.  During this time I completed my masters in Educational Media, earned my National Boards, and was awarded the 2019 Oustanding K-8 Educator from NC SMT.   

I live in the area with my husband Luke and our daughters McKinnon and Allie.  When we aren't in school we love watching and participating in sports,  riding roller coasters,  traveling, playing pickleball and hanging with our goldendoodles Laettner and Sully.  Come see me in my classroom for a treat if you can figure out where our dogs' names come from, shhh don't share your answer.
