• About Me:

  • I graduated from Enka High School in 2001 and went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University and my Master’s degree in Library Science from East Carolina University. I am also National Board Certified in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy. 

  • I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by family, a good book, great music, or planning our next adventure. My husband and our three kids keep life busy and fun here in Candler, and when I’m not at school, I love reading, exercising, listening to live music, and exploring new places. As a lifelong book lover, I feel pretty lucky to help kids discover the joy of reading.
