Go warriors!

I am an Asheville native and attended school in the Roberson district. I received my teaching degree from Appalachian State University in Special Education K-12. From the time I was 5 years old, I knew I wanted to be a teacher! I love working with children and look forward to working with your child! I teach Math and ELA and are a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and have taught the Wilson system since 2010.

I have taught and worked with a number of different types of children with exceptional needs. I taught in Palm Beach, Florida for 3 years and then decided to move back to the beautiful NC mountains! I have taught in Buncombe county for 17 years. Wow, can't believe it's been 20 years!! I taught at Avery's Creek Elementary and CT Koontz Intermediate. I took some time off and returned back to the classroom and have been at Eblen Intermediate for 2 years.

In my free time I enjoy spending it with my family at Lake Keowee, attending Clemson Football games (GO TIGERS!!!), watching the Green Bay Packers play (Go Pack, Go!), snow skiing, traveling and enjoying the beautiful mountains we are blessed to live in.
