Welcome!

My name is Jennifer Campbell. I have been teaching at West Buncombe Elementary School since 2002. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades and loved them all!

I have lived in Asheville my entire life and even went to school at West Buncombe. When I was young, I really wasn't sure what my career was going to be. I was interested in so many paths. Yet, after substitute teaching for 2 years while I was in college, I found exactly what I was made to do! I couldn't wait to have a classroom of my own. I attended UNC-Asheville to earn my Bachelor degree in psychology with a license to teach K-6 and have been teaching ever since. Teaching combines everything I love! I work extremely hard to provide a safe, loving atmosphere where my students can thrive.
