Ms. Borden

Ms. Borden loves flowers and to pant flowers in her flower gardens.

  • I have been teaching for the last 24 years. This is my 20th year in NC and also my 20th at Averys Creek.

  • This is my 5th year teaching 1st grade which is my favorite grade to teach.

  • I was born and raised in Indiana

  • I graduated from Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne with my Bachelors of Science degree in Education.

  • I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University

  • I am also a National Board Certified Teacher for Literacy Reading Language Arts Early Childhood/Middle Childhood
