Mission Statement:

My mission is to impart English Language Learning strategies to support Multilingual Learners and give them the confidence and tools that they need to be successful in their classrooms and the community in which they live.

Teaching Career:

  • I taught General Education and ESL in Orange County Public Schools (Orlando, Florida) for 13 years.

  • I taught General Education and ESL in Fulton County Public Schools (Atlanta, Georgia) for 8 years.

  • I taught General Education and ESL in Buncombe County Public Schools for 5 + years.

  • Currently I am teaching ESL at Avery's Creek Elementary School in Buncombe County Schools.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio

Personal:

  • I was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio and attended schools in the Sandusky City School System.

  • I am bilingual (English/Spanish)
