Welcome to BCS Virtual Academy!

About my role at the school:

• I help students and staff use technology tools effectively.

• I help when technology isn't working the way it should.

• I am the point of contact for questions about our NCVPS (North Carolina Virtual Public School) and ABTech (Asheville-Buncombe Technical) Community College partnerships.

• I manage the BCSVA school website.

• I am the 10th grade co-advisor.

• I help student access BCS and Public Library materials.

• I am happy to answer and help find answers to any questions regarding students' education!

About me:

• I earned my undergraduate and master's degrees at Appalachian State University.

• I've been at BCS since 2008 as a Spanish teacher and an instructional technology facilitator. 

• My wife teaches at Valley Springs Middle  School and we have 2 wonderful children and 2 cute cats.

• I enjoy audiobooks, skateboarding, snowboarding, swimming, video games, and science fiction.
