James Bannish

Mr. Bannish is the director of bands here at North Buncombe Middle School in Weaverville, NC.

Mr. Bannish is a native of Hendersonville, NC and received both his Bachelor of Science in Education and his Bachelor of Music from  Western Carolina University in 2020.  

While attending WCU he studied tuba performance under Dr. Michael Schallock, and held various leadership roles within multiple ensembles including the award winning Pride of the Mountains Marching Band.
