Jacob Narron
Science Teacher - Physics, Chemistry, Earth/Environmental
I have been at Enka since 2017, and I primarily teach Physics and Chemistry at the standard, honors, and advanced placement levels. I also teach the occasional Earth/Environmental science course for freshmen students.
I graduated from Buncombe County Schools several years ago, and then I attended Appalachian State University with a bachelors of science in secondary education, with a physics concentration.
I am also one of the last North Carolina Teaching Fellows, which was a scholarship and enrichment program I participated in during college.
In my classroom, I put a heavy emphasis on integrating technology when appropriate. I primarily use OneNote which is a Microsoft product that is already installed on student devices. I also use Google Classroom to disperse information daily.
To contact me, email is best and can be found in Google Classroom, OneNote, as well as on the Enka High website using the contact option.
