Jackson T. Rigsby

Magister Rigsby, Latin I-IV, Mythology Honors, Ancient Greek.

• I have been teaching at AC Reynolds High since the beginning of January 2025. I teach all levels of Latin, I also teach Mythology, and Ancient Greek I. 

• I am a classical archaeologist and spent a year living in Greece to hone in my studies of the ancient world.

• I run the Junior Classical League on campus AKA the Latin club. 

• Parents, please keep track of your child's grades through Infinite Campus. I also send emails frequently with updates on classes, clubs, and fieldtrips. 

• • I am a product of BCS having graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High.

  • I have a BA from The University of North Carolina Asheville.

  • I have a Post-Baccalaureate from the College Year in Athens, Greece.

  • I teach to share my passion for the ancient world with the younger generation. There is so much we can learn from the ancients that benefits our everyday lives. Plus it is fascinating!

  • I use Google Classroom for assignments and tasks. I will post grades to Google classroom and Infinite Campus often.
