A little about me:
I am an ESL teacher/meaning I teach multilingual students ( students who speak one or more languages in addition to English)
I have been teaching at Leicester Elementary since 2019
I teach K-4th grade
I love working with multilingual learners!
I am married and have two children and 3 cats .
Yo hablo espanol/ I speak Spanish
I grew up in West Virginia, and first moved to Asheville in 2005.
I earned my Master's in TESOL (Teaching English as a 2nd or other language) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
In my free time I love to dance, spend time in nature, and travel when possible. My family is also a huge soccer family! My weekends are usually spent watching lots of soccer (my kids, my husband and my nephew all play, plus we watch lots of professional soccer at home!)

Crecí en Virginia Occidental y me mudé por primera vez a Asheville en 2005.
Obtuve mi Maestría en TESOL (Enseñanza de inglés como segundo idioma u otro) de la Universidad de Massachusetts, Amherst.
En mi tiempo libre me encanta bailar, pasar tiempo en la naturaleza y viajar cuando sea posible. ¡Mi familia también es una gran familia futbolera! Por lo general, paso los fines de semana viendo mucho fútbol (mis hijos, mi esposo y mi sobrino juegan, ¡además vemos mucho fútbol profesional en casa!)
