Irene Marsh

My name is Irene Marsh, and I am thrilled to teach first-grade students at Oakley Elementary School this year. I have been involved in the education system since 2006 and have been a full-time bilingual teacher since 2016. I have been working at Oakley Elementary since 2018, and I feel like it is my second home now. 

Growing up in a bilingual household has given me many advantages, and I believe bilingual or dual-language education benefits our children. Therefore, I am deeply proud to be a bilingual teacher and feel so happy to work at Oakley Elementary School. Helping children learn a new language and help others connect with what they already know to new learning is incredibly rewarding; it can positively impact their future. Oakley Elementary is a fantastic school, and I am grateful to be a part of such a supportive and dedicated community.
