My name is Heather Childress, and I am thrilled to be a part of the incredible teaching team at Weaverville Primary School.
As a proud native of the beautiful mountains of WNC, I’ve always cherished the small-town charm and wonderful sense of community we share. I attended Weaverville schools as a child, just as my own children have, making this school truly special to me.
I am a graduate of East Carolina University—Go Pirates!
The amazing teachers I had at Weaverville Primary and Weaverville Elementary inspired me to pursue a career in education, and I am honored to carry forward their legacy.
