Haley Townsend 

Hi there!

I'm Ms. Townsend and I am excited to be your childs teacher!

I was born and raised in Asheville, NC and graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School in 2014 and later graduated from Western Carolina University in 2019 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. 

Previously  I taught 5th Grade Science and Social Studies in the Roberson District before starting at Oakley. This is my first year at Oakley Elementary and I am currently teaching 1st grade!

When I am not teaching you can find me spending time with my fiancé and our son, outside running, reading, listening to a true crime podcast or playing with our three dogs. 

I'm looking forward to meeting you and your child this year!
