Hello!  My name is Hailey Hirsch and I am the Secretary to Student Services.

I graduated from the University of Miami in 1999 with my Bachelor of Science majoring in Sociology and Public Relations and in 2002 with my Master of Science in Education. I worked at Palmetto Senior High as a Mathematics Teacher in Miami, Florida for 5 years and in 2007 I decided to move to Asheville. After moving to Asheville, I taught Mathematics for 8 years at Erwin High School.

I currently live in Asheville, North Carolina with my three fur babies, Gryffindor Mintaka (Doberman Pinscher) and Ladybug (tortoise-shell calico cat rescue). In my spare time, I enjoy taking hikes across the beautiful NC mountains, sitting on my porch reading, watching my team play (University of Miami), watching my koi fish in the pond, or eating at one of the amazing Asheville restaurants.

I became an AC Reynolds Rocket in January of 2022. I love being a part of the Rocket Team!
