I was last 2003 BCSVA Teacher of the Year
I was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC; I graduated from Westover Senior High School in 1989
I went to Western Carolina University and earned my BSEd in Secondary Math and my Master's Degree in Applied Math
I am National Board certified in Adolescent and Young Adulthood Math
I teach math at the secondary level because I understand how to get students engaged in the learning process. I have a great rapport with students. I know how to get students to understand mathematical concepts and apply themselves.
