  • I am a National Board Certified Teacher.

  • In 2017, I earned the North Carolina Global Educator Digital Badge.

Why do I teach?

    • To prepare students for their future and help them gain 21st Century skills.

    • To expand their knowledge and help them grow.

    • To help them become bilingual citizens of our world.

    • To open their minds up to the world around them, outside of the walls of the classroom.

    • To help my students gain confidence in themselves.

    • To teach my students how to communicate effectively and work together as a team.

    • To teach them to accept other people's differences and value cultures different than their own.

    • To help shape future leaders of our world.

    • To remind myself, that I too, can change the world.
