Mr. Eugene Fortain, High School Teacher

I have been teaching in the Progressive Education Program since the 2017/2018 school year. I grew up in southern California and moved to Fletcher in 2007. Before teaching at PEP I taught a Special Education class at Glenn Marlow Elementary School in Mills River for 8 years. The main focus of my class is getting students ready to be successful in a workplace environment after they graduate from high school.  We practice a lot of job related skills such as: sweeping, vacuuming, wiping tables, hanging and folding clothes, sorting objects, picking up trash outside, and social interactions in the workplace.
