Spanish Teacher
I started teaching Spanish at Owen Middle School in 2024. Before that, I worked at schools in South Carolina and Florida.
I graduated from the College of Charleston, where I majored in Spanish, with an emphasis on literature and Spanish sociolinguistics.
My passion for the language started while I was very young and grew through study abroad experiences in Ecuador, Chile, and Costa Rica during both high school and college, which deeply enriched my understanding and love of Spanish and my comprehension of the diversity in both language and culture.
I use Google Classroom to keep students and families connected with classroom activities and support language learning.
I look forward to fostering a vibrant and engaging Spanish learning environment for all my students!
