Erin Byrnes

Academic Interventionist

  • I have been an ELA teacher at ACRMS since 2017, and this year I will serve as the school's Academic Interventionist--a new position.

What is an Academic Interventionist? Most simply put, my job is to support students, teachers and learning by assisting with planning and instruction, teaching small targeted groups, and providing resources to promote growth. For more information, click here.

  • I am the daughter of a retired AirForce pilot, and my military upbringing kept me moving from base to base in my youth. I graduated from South View Senior High School in 1996 with a Teaching Fellows Scholarship to Western Carolina University.

  • I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2000 with a BSEd in Secondary English Education. I graduated in 2014 with a Master's in School Administration.
