SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in linguistics and from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004 with a master's degree in speech and hearing sciences. I also have an associate's degree in sign language interpreting from Blue Ridge Community College and am a certified apple teacher.
I am passionate about helping students find their voice. I have many years of experience working with students who use augmentative and alternative communication (e.g. communication apps, dedicated speech devices, and switches). I work closely with teachers, parents, therapists, and other specialists to ensure that our students are maximizing their communication potential at school, home and their vocational environments.
