Welcome!

My name is Erin Flattery and I teach Kindergarten at Emma Elementary. I've been at Emma since 2015 and have taught 3rd grade, 1st grade, and Kindergarten.

I went to college at Western Carolina University and graduated with a degree in communications and sociology. I received my teaching license at UNC-Asheville and began teaching in 2013.

In our classroom we use Seesaw as our learning management system. I am a Seesaw Certified Educator and have used Seesaw since 2018.

In my life outside of school I love to play sports, paddleboard, cook, and enjoy live music. Some of my favorite things include Flair pens, funny socks, and plants!
