The mission of the Enka High School wrestling team is to enrich the overall high school experience of our athletes and to help prepare them for their future. We strive to complement our school's academic program, to model and promote good sportsmanship, inspire a healthy lifestyle, and to nurture a winning effort and positive attitude in all endeavors.

2025-2026 was a banner year for the Sugar Jets who set a school record for dual wins (18), repeated as MAC Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champs, and placed 7th at the State Dual Championships. They also finished a program-best 4th at regionals and 5th place at the state tournament. New school records were also set for state qualifiers (5) and state placers (4) #PurePursuit
