Emma Venable

My name is Emma Venable and I have been teaching 6th grade English Language Arts at Eblen since 2023. I grew up in Asheville and attended public schools for my entire educational career. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and have been teaching ever since. I come from a family of educators who have instilled in me a lifelong passion for learning and sharing my knowledge with others. Learners in my classroom can expect to engage with a variety of fiction and nonfiction texts, and grow their writing skills as well as working to create a thriving classroom community.
