Emily Weaver

2nd Grade Teacher 

Hi there! My name is Emily Weaver and I am a 2nd Grade Teacher at WBES. I am a proud graduate of our very own Erwin High School and attended West Buncombe during my elementary years! I then graduated from UNC-Asheville with my degree in Psychology and K-6 Teaching License. 

I knew I wanted to be a teacher as a little girl and nothing has changed since! I absolutely love helping students learn and grow to meet their full potential. The classroom is my happy place and my goal is to make it a happy place for my students as well. 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, watching and playing sports, cooking, reading, and traveling!
