Emily Fagan

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Emily Fagan and I love Cane Creek Middle School! My journey to get here has been lively and exciting.  As a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, I began working in Buncombe County Schools as a first grade teacher and  have now  been a teacher for over 20 years! A few years into my career I revieved my MSA from Western. After spending valuable time teaching younger grades I felt drawn to older elementary school students. It was there I found my love for 5th and 6th graders! 

I attest to the power of using students positive energy to  engage them in critical thinking and problem solving opportunities.
