Elsilee Garcia

Hello Estes Families,

I am so humbled and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal of such a diverse and beautiful school community! I am overjoyed every morning as I place my hand on my heart and pledge, “We are leaders, we are learners, we are family.”

My husband and I are raising two beautiful girls. My oldest aspires to become a therapist. My youngest, who currently attends Estes, wants to care for animals as a future veterinarian. We have two fur babies who make our family complete: Rory a gentle guinea pig and Opie a sweet rescue pup.

This is my eleventh year in education. I have taught grades K-6 as a regular and special education teacher. I have also had the opportunity to serve as a behavior specialist in Buncombe County Schools. I have obtained an honorary Masters in School Administration through Western Carolina and am motivated to learn and grow alongside one of the best leaders, Principal Dale!

I am eager to serve each student, family, and colleague with humility, compassion, and dedication.
