Elizabeth Apostolopoulos

Hi! I am the Instructional Coach at North Buncombe Elementary. I have grown up in Buncombe County and been teaching here since 1993. My family and I love being Blackhawks and I have been at North Buncombe Elementary since 2009.  I also taught in the Asheville City Schools and at AB Tech. I currently teach Literacy Development and Instruction at Blue Ridge Community College. 

I received my Bachelor's degree from Emory University and Master's degree from Western Carolina University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher with a Literacy Concentration and a Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling, or LETRS, Facilitator for Buncombe County.

I moved to the Instructional Coach position in 2022 and love being a small part of student and teacher success at NBES.
