Ms. Duke

Hello! My name is Christina Duke and I am an Intensive Intervention Teacher working with grades 1-4. I have been teaching at North Buncombe Elementary since 2021. Before working here, I spent 14 years with Boston Public Schools and 2 years with Leon County Schools in Florida. I am originally from Florida and attended Florida State University for my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. I love to be outdoors, including hiking, kayaking, and spending time with my dogs.

In my classroom, we use aspects of Wilson Reading, Handwriting Without Tears, and Touch Math. The online LMS that I utilize is Seesaw. In the case of a remote learning day, I will post assignments and activities in Seesaw.
