3rd Grade Interim Teacher
Hello! My name is Debbie Cannon, and I’m thrilled to be serving as the interim 3rd grade teacher this year. I am a retired educator with 38 wonderful years of teaching experience across Texas, Florida, and now here in beautiful Asheville—where I’m beginning my second year back in the classroom.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching a wide range of students, including those in Gifted and Exceptional Student Education (EC) programs. My passion has always been helping each child grow, learn, and feel confident in who they are.
Outside the classroom, I love to travel, hike, explore nature, and get lost in a good book. I also enjoy spending time with my two energetic Aussie Doodles, who keep me on my toes!
I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with growth, laughter, and learning. Let’s make it a great one!
