Deanna Buchanan

I went to Mars Hill University and majored in Elementary Education.

I started teaching at Bell in 2015; I have taught Kindergarten and first grade. Prior to being the lead teacher in these classes, I worked as an assistant in third and fourth grade for 12 years.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking and trail running.

Teaching first graders inspires me because I love to see their excitement and love for learning.

In our class, we primarily use Seesaw as our Learning Management System. As a parent, you'll likely receive emails or newsletters from me regarding class activities and announcements.
