MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Blackhawks Strength and Conditioning Program is to provide every student athlete with the very best evidence based exercise programs. To provide a strength and conditioning program that is committed to developing athletes into champions in their respective sports. A program dedicated to improving our athletes strength, speed, agility, power, and flexibility. To develop team bonding, leadership, mental toughness, and discipline through rigorous physical and mental tests. To properly educate our athletes on the importance of rest, injury prevention, and nutrition. Football players and other athletes graduating from North Buncombe High School will know and understand the only limitations are the limits that they place upon themselves.
PHILOSOPHY
Strength and Conditioning must be a specific mission. The emphasis will be placed on developing athletes to be strong, fit, and successful in HS. Every athlete must be disciplined in eight areas to ensure success. These eight areas must be exercised and trained on a consistent basis over a long period to see the beneficial effects.
