This year, 2025, is my first year of teaching. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education.
I've worked in other industries over the years:
Nuclear Mechanic
Chef
Educational Sign Language Interpreter (7 years at Buncombe County Schools)
My wife and I grew up around Austin, Texas but have lived in WNC since 2013, where we have raised our three children. My youngest is part of class 2027.
