It is such a joy to be teaching Technology at Valley Springs Middle School! I began my teaching career in 2014 and moved to Buncombe County Schools in 2022, joining the team at VSMS. Feel free to look at your child's Google Classroom platform to see what we do in class!

• Graduated 2014 from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education

• Graduated 2021 from Guilford Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Web Development

Why I Teach

My favorite part of teaching is the opportunity to mentor students outside of simply the academic realm. Building relationships and teaching 21st-century social and emotional skills through the lens of technology is what keeps me in the classroom!
