Collete Blair

Hello everyone my name is Collete Blair, but your student will know me as Ms.B. I have been working at Sand Hill-Venable Elementary since 2016 when I started as a Teaching Assistant in the Intensive Intervention Classrooms. In 2022 I was fortunate enough to be placed in a Teaching Position in the 2nd-3rd grade Intensive Intervention Classroom. I truly love working with all the students that come into my classroom and wholeheartedly believe that every child should be provided high-quality education at their ability level.

Some fun facts about me are that I have lived in Asheville since I was 9 years old and went to school in the Erwin District. I also have a son who keeps me constantly on the go and in my free time I enjoy baking and reading.

I am very excited to have your child this year and looking forward to watching them grow in not only their education but also as people. I also looking forward to working with you as their parent to make your child's educational experience a positive one. In our classroom we will use the communication app class dojo to not only keep you updated on important and exciting events coming up, but also as another form of communication.
