About Me:

• I have taught English for 9 years and English as a Second Language for 7 years with NC public schools. Prior to K-12 education, I taught Composition & Literature classes for community colleges in -person and on-line.

• I am an avid reader and writer. I have always enjoyed sharing my love of literature with students and helping them become stronger writers.

• I'm an adventurer and love to travel. I get pretty creative in the kitchen with cooking. I'm an artist who works primarily with oils, and I love to learn about other cultures through dance and movement.
