Cindi Gosnell

I am originally from East Tennessee and a graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. I began teaching at Cane Creek Middle School in 2013. Working with children is a passion of mine and I love teaching.

I teach Family and Consumer Sciences for all grade levels. My classes provide students with an idea of some of the elective classes offered through Career and Technical Education (CTE) in our high schools. They also give students skills that will last a lifetime. Such classes include Exploring Childcare for 6th grade, Exploring Nutrition and Wellness for 7th grade, and Exploring Personal Finance and Exploring Hospitality/Tourism for 8th grade.

Throughout all my classes Google Classroom is utilized. We also use hands-on and project-based learning (i.e., cooking labs, research projects, American Red Cross Babysitter's training, etc.)
