I am Nurse Taylor and I am so excited to be your school nurse! I serve two high schools in the Owen district - Owen High School and Community High School. 

I have been a nurse for 7 years. 5 of those years have been in school nursing. I have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and Psychology and am a Nationally Certified School Nurse. My previous experience was in the float pool where I floated between med-surg and step-down units. 

My role as your school nurse is to assist with any health needs that arise, which can be physical, emotional or mental health needs. I assist in the management of acute and chronic health conditions to help prevent and limit the effects on your education. I do my very best to provide an open, welcoming and safe space for every student.
