WELCOME TO MUSIC AT KOONTZ!

My name is Christy Woppman. I have been a music educator for 26 years and I have taught Chorus and General Music at Koontz Intermediate School since 2013. My desire is to instill in students the same love and appreciation for music and the arts that I have enjoyed since youth.  I possess a degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the University of South Carolina and have performed with choirs and as a soloist throughout the United States and Europe. I am certified to teach music and art K-12 and have a National Board Certified Teaching license in early and middle childhood music.
