Chelsea Walton

My teaching career began as a Title I assistant at Oakley Elementary School in 2005. I was a classroom teacher in kindergarten and third grade before moving to the media center in 2013. I have loved working in various positions throughout the school. I moved to C. T. Koontz in 2022.

I am a graduate of Buncombe County Schools: Oakley Elementary, A. C. Reynolds Middle and High School. From there I attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington for my B.A. in Elementary Education in 2001, Montreat College in 2005 for my M.A. in Elementary Education and Appalachian State University in 2013 for my M.A. in Library Science.
