Carrie Carpenter

In my teaching career, I have been blessed to teach several different grade levels. I have taught fourth grade, third grade, and second grade, but I am so EXCITED to have finally made it to kindergarten!!! I have hoped to teach kindergarten since the start of my teaching career. North Buncombe Elementary School has been my home since I graduated from Appalachian State University in 1998. I have two kiddos: my son, Coleman, is at NBHS and my daughter, Carly, is at NBMS. My husband, Kyle, and I, have been married for 22 years, but we were high school sweethearts. In 2020, we rescued two adorable, but crazy puppies: Rosie is a terrier mix and Oakley is a border collie mix. I can't wait to tell my kindergarten kiddos all about their wild adventures.
