Hi and welcome! My name is Caitlin Burnett and I am a math teacher here at Nesbitt Discovery Academy. I graduated from Erwin High School in 2007 and received my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from UNC Asheville in 2012. I have been teaching math in Buncombe County since then and absolutely love my job! I received my National Board Certification in 2019 and am the advisor to Student Council, Prom Committee, Girl Up!, and YCI. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of the incoming students as well as reconnecting with current students! Here's to a great year!
