Overview

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. It is a balanced, proactive approach to establishing behavior norms and expectations, as well as the supports and social culture that students need to be socially, emotionally, and academically successful at Erwin High School. It is a school-wide program that includes rewarding positive behavior, consequences for negative behavior, instructional components for teaching expected behavior, and a support plan to address the needs of students.
