Brooke Scott

Welcome! My name is Brooke Scott. I’ve been teaching since 2012 and I'm so grateful to be a part of the TC Roberson family. I am lucky to have been born and raised here in mountains. I spent four wonderful years at UNC-CH (GO HEELS!) where I received a B.A. in English. I then pursued my degree in education and graduated from WCU with my Masters in the Art of Teaching.

I am married and we have a son who keeps us constantly laughing and on our toes. Life is never boring in our house. As a TCR alum, I'm happy to be returning to the Ram Family to continue my career and raise my own family.

This year, I am teaching English 2, English 2 Honors and English 3 Honors. I'm excited about the curriculum and the chance to engage my students this semester. I implement a blended learning environment, which means that technology is essential to our learning this year, but not everything will be done on the computer. We will be using Google Classroom to help us achieve this learning environment. I will be striving to keep activities interesting and meet learning standards while introducing a worldview approach to the learning this year as we study literature.
