Mr. Mallory

Science Teacher, Earth Environmental Science

  • I've been teaching outdoor and environmental education since the late 1990's; and here at Owen High School since 2014.

  • I'm a product of k-12 public education, graduating from Patrick Henry High School and the Virginia Governor's School for Math and Science in Roanoke Virginia. My degree is in Environmental Studies from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, where I studied Ecology, Earth Science, Physics, and Biology.

  • I've lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains for the majority of my life. My upbringing and education has taught me to appreciate our diverse mountain ecology. My interest in ecology lead me in the path of studying and teaching about our natural environment.
