Mr. Roman Blevins

Welcome to my classroom page! My name is Roman Blevins and I teach 6th grade social studies. I have been teaching at Cane Creek Middle School since 2021. I am a native of Western North Carolina and I received my undergraduate degree from Mars Hill University. Prior to teaching, I was a historic interpreter at the Biltmore Estate, where I cultivated a passion for both the local lore of the Appalachians and an eclectic interest in cultures from around the world.

I am a firm believer that every student has the potential to excel and it is during this formative time in their lives that learning should be inspirational. It is my goal as a teacher to facilitate that and lead students on a path to discover what they can achieve in an increasingly STEM-oriented world.
