Bethany Abbatiello

Hi! My name is Bethany Abbatiello and I am the speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Oakley Elementary.  I have worked as a school-based SLP since 2008 and in Buncombe County Schools since 2019.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics Education from Florida State University in 1997 and my Masters of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Georgia in 2006. Go Dawgs!

In my spare time I love spending time outdoors in our beautiful mountains with my family, volunteering with a local farm animal sanctuary, and reading.
