Ben Powell

Hi my name is Ben Powell and I am a Physical Education Teacher at Eblen intermediate school!

I graduated from Mars Hill university and have been teaching here at Eblen since 2023! I student taught at Erwin High school and started my teaching career at Erwin Middle. I am very happy to be continuing to teach in this great district! 

I teach because It gives me an incredible opportunity to make an impact on peoples live every single day that I come into work! I chose Physical Education because I truly believe that providing the students with skills and knowledge on how to live and maintain a healthy lifestyle is so important.
