Ashlyn Chavez - 2nd Grade Teacher

Hi! My name is Ashlyn Chavez and the 2022-23 school year is my first year teaching at Fairview Elementary School.

I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008. I lived in Charlotte while teaching in Rock Hill, SC. I taught 2nd grade for 6 six years at Lesslie Elementary School. I took a break from teaching to stay at home with my two daughters. My family and I moved to Fairview at the end of 2021 from Charlotte, NC.

Both of my daughters attended Fairview Elementary and we love being Fairview Cardinals!
