Welcome To Our Classroom!

Dear Parents and Students,

Thank you for visiting our classroom website! My name is Ashli James and I am SO excited to be your kindergarten teacher!! I have been teaching here at Candler Elementary since 2014 and I am so blessed to be able to continue my teaching career here at Candler Elementary. I have lived in Western North Carolina for 16 years and graduated with both a K-6 Teaching License and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Asheville (go Bulldogs!).

As an educator, I value my job and the opportunity that I will have to teach your child the requirements he/she will need to complete by the end of the school year. Your child's success in my classroom is my number one priority. It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us!
